Mi nombre es Anna Fernandez Ros y nací en Vilassar de Mar, Barcelona. Me encanta viajar y conocer nuevas culturas:  hablar con diferentes personas, adaptarme a lugares diferentes  y enriquecerme de todas estas experiencias de un valor incalculable.

Este es mi noveno año como maestra. He sido maestra en dos escuelas en España, una en Saint Paul, Minnesota, y una en East Palo Alto. De todas aprendí mucho.

Este es mi quinto año como maestra en Adelante. Me siento muy afortunada de poder compartir con maestros, padres y estudiantes la experiencia de trabajar en una escuela bilingue donde todos los estudiantes tienen el privilegio de hablar, como minimo, dos lenguas.

Como maestra, me gusta que en el salón haya un buen ambiente de trabajo donde los estudiantes puedan enfocarse fácilmente. Considero que la educación no es sólo transmitir contenidos sinó educar a los estudiantes en otros ámbitos también muy importantes como la responsabilidad, la creatividad, el respeto, la honestidad y la estabilidad emocional.

My name is Anna Fernandez Ros and I was born in Vilassar, Barcelona. I love to travel and learn about different cultures, talk with different people, adapt to new different places, and enrich myself with all these unique experiences.

This is my ninth year as a teacher. I have taught in two schools in Spain, one in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and one more in East Palo Alto. I have learned a great deal from all of them.

This is my fifth year as a teacher at Adelante. I feel very fortunate to be able to share the experience of being bilingual with parents, teaches, and students.

As a teacher, I like to have a good environment in the classroom where students can concentrate easily. I feel that there's more to education than simply transmitting information to the students. As a teacher, I strive to teach children responsibility, creativity, respect, honesty, and emotional stability.
