Hi, My name is Linda Morton and I am one of the Resource Specialists here at Adelante. I job share with my teaching partner, Monica Sarmiento. I have worked here for 8 years, and love being a part of the Adelante community. I have the privilege of working with small groups of students from all grade levels who need additional academic support in the areas of reading, written language, or math. I enjoy working with these students who are striving to overcome learning differences.

In addition to working on basic skills, we also focus on using student strengths, increasing focus and independence, and on using effective strategies when approaching learning tasks. I also collaborate with the regular classroom teachers in order to assist students in reaching their academic goals.

The staff at Adelante is truly supportive of all students and it is a privilege to work with them.
