Mi nombre es Aura Tello-Bartok, soy maestra de recursos especiales (vínculo entre padres, maestros y estudiantes). Comencé a trabajar en Adelante en 1996, luego me fui por 3 años y ahora he regresado desde el año pasado.

Mis tareas inlcuyen: proveer apoyo educativo a los estudiantes en las áreas de destrezas sociales, resolución de conflictos y prevención de violencia. También los apoyo con auto-estima y expresar sentimientos de una manera apropiada.

Apoyo para padres también se ofrece, así como referencias a agencias comunitarias en cualquier area que necesiten (seguro médico, consejería, etc.).

Estoy disponible para ayudar a maestros, estudiantes y padres en cualquier cosa que necesiten.

My name is Aura Tello-Bartok and I am the Outreach Specialist (Parent/Teacher/Student Liasion). I started working at Adelante in 1996. I left for 3 years and I have been back since last year.

My duties include providing educational support for children in the areas of social skills, conflict resolution and violence prevention. I also work on helping them with self esteem issues, and expressing feelings in a proper way.

Support for parents is also available, as well as referrals for community agencies in any area of need (health insurance, counseling, etc.).

I am available to help teachers, students and parents in anything they may need.
